Identities of three people arrested in connection with three murders made public

BIRATNAGAR: FEB. 4 – The names of three people arrested in connection with the murders of three people in Morang have been made public by police.

Anil Mandal, 31, of Siraha Municipality-21 currently living in Balkhu, Kathmandu, Dinanath Sonar alias Amit Sah of Jahada Rural Municipality-4 Siswani of Morang and Nasir Alam, 62, of Dhanpalthan Rural Municipality-7 Kamalpur of Morang have been made public by the police at a press conference. Police said that Mandal was the main accused and the other two were his accomplices.

According to police, the board has opened an investigation into the deaths of its own business partners Rajendra Kumar Shrestha, Shambhu Kumar Chaudhary, and Mohan Limbu.

Shrestha and Chaudhary’s bodies were found in sugarcane field in Morang’s Dhanpalathan, while Limbu’s body was buried in a pit dug in Lalitpur.
