3,175 new cases, 8,723 recoveries, 14 deaths in 24 hours

KATHMANDU: FEB. 3 – In Nepal, an additional 3,175 people have been infected with COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.

During this time, 10,026 swab samples were tested using the RT-PCR method, with 2,742 of them returning positive results. Similarly, 2,579 people had antigen tests for the virus, with 433 of them testing positive.

During the same time period, another 14 people died of the virus, according to the ministry. 63,296 persons are currently infected with COVID-19 across the country, with 8,723 people recovered from infection.

Meanwhile, today 266,540 people were vaccinated.
