Such is the supercomputer operated at TU (video)

KATHMANDU: FEB. 3 – A supercomputer has recently come into operation at Tribhuvan University (TU).

TU has succeeded in ‘installing’ a university supercomputer as of January 23 after eight months of hard work.

The operation of a supercomputer, according to Madhav Prasad Ghimire, an associate professor at the Central Department of Physics, will result in a significant and beneficial change in performance.

The supercomputer in TU was designed, built, and operated by Dr Rajendra Prasad Adhikari, a Nepali supercomputer expert from Kathmandu University’s Department of Physics.

The supercomputer is housed in TU’s Kirtipur Information Technology and Innovation Center.
