Fire at Kakarbhitta shoe factory, efforts to control continue

JHAPA: FEB. 3 – A fire has broken out in Kakarbhitta, Jhapa district’s Mechinagar. The fire that started some time ago has not been brought under control.

Efforts are being undertaken to put out the fire, according to the Jhapa District Police Office.

As the fire brigade of Mechinagar Municipality has deteriorated it is difficult to control. Controlling the fire has gotten problematic.

Firefighters from Bhadrapur and Birtamode have been dispatched to control the fire, according to the Jhapa District Police Office.
