Nepal records 3,637 new COVID-19 cases, 12 more deaths in past 24 hours

KATHMANDU: FEB. 2 – In Nepal, an additional 3,637 people have been infected with COVID-19 in the last 12 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health, a total of 3,637 people were confirmed with COVID-19 infection after 6,499 PCR tests were performed on 2,205 people and 5,083 antigen tests were performed on 1,432 people.
In the previous 24 hours, 12 more people have died, according to Health Ministry spokesperson Dr Sangeeta Mishra.
According to the ministry, 69,291 persons are actively infected with COVID-19 across the country, with 7,555 successfully recovered.
