Cultural diversity, Nepal’s fundamental identity-State Chief Gurung

GANDAKI: FEB. 2 – Gandaki State Chief Prithviman Gurung has said cultural diversity was the fundamental identity marker of Nepal and Nepali people.

In a message of best wishes on the occasion of Sonam Lhosar today, State Chief Gurung said the special festival has enhanced harmony and also inspired all to work for the preservation of own religion, culture, traditions ad conventions.

May this festival provide an impetus for all of us to bring peace, goodwill and prosperity in the country, Gurung said in the message of best wishes to greet all Nepali people at home and abroad on the happy occasion of Sonam Lhosar – the New Year of Tamang Community.
