KATHMANDU: FEB. 1 – The second friendly match between Nepal and Mauritius has been tense. During the second half, the situation turned tensed.

In the 69th minute, a player from Mauritius tackled Nepal’s Anjan Bista. Madhusudhan Upadhyaya, the Nepali team manager, and Bikash Malla, the goalkeeper coach, both entered the field.

The referee gave a red card to one player from each team as the tension grew. Bikash Lama of Nepal was given a red card. Madhusudhan Upadhyaya, the Nepali team’s manager, was also shown a red card. Due to the high level of the situation, the game was stopped for a while.

Four players had already got yellow cards. The game is currently 1-0 in favor of Nepal.
