Road accident leaves 7 dead in north China border city

HOHHOT: JAN. 31 – Seven people were killed in a road accident in north China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Sunday, the local public security bureau said Monday.

The accident took place around 9:45 a.m. in the border city of Erenhot when a sport utility vehicle (SUV) ran into two other vehicles as the driver tried to overtake on a snow-covered road.

Further investigation is underway.
