Constituent Assembly member Thapa passes away

KATHMANDU: JAN. 31 – Dr Duman Singh Thapa, a former CPN-UML MP, has passed away. Thapa died at Aims Hospital in Kathmandu on Sunday at the age of 62, according to his family.

From Arghakhanchi, Thapa was elected to the first Constituent Assembly. He got a kidney transplant some time ago. He was a member of the CPN-Unified Socialist’s Central Election Commission after the UML split.
