Nepal reports 3,450 new COVID-19 cases

KATHMANDU: JAN. 30 – COVID-19 infection has been confirmed in 3,540 people in Nepal on Sunday.

COVID-19 infection was confirmed in 3,049 people during PCR testing of 9,910 people, and in 491 people during 3,235 antigen tests, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

The ministry said 32 people had died from the COVID-19 infection, including those managed by the army at different times.

COVID-19 has so far claimed the lives of 11,732 persons in Nepal, including the number of deaths managed by the army at different times.

Similarly, 6,559 infected people have been cured in Nepal, bringing the total number of infected people to 854,719 infected people.

According to the ministry, there are currently 83,999 active infectious isolations in Nepal.
