KATHMANDU: JAN. 30 – Nepal has won an international friendly match for the first time in decades.
On Saturday, Nepal won a friendly match against Mauritius 1-0 at Dasharath Stadium, claiming its first victory in international friendly football.
Bimal Gharti Magar scored the winning goal for Nepal. Bimal, who returned to the national team after two years, scored the goal.
On Tuesday, Nepal and Mauritius will play their next friendly match. Bhutan has previously been defeated by Nepal in a friendly match in 2011.
