NC forms 37-member executive committee

KATHMANDU: JAN. 28 – A Central Performance Committee was formed by the Nepali Congress. The performance committee was formed at a virtual meeting of the Central Working Committee convened on Friday (today).

President Sher Bahadur Deuba has formed the executive committee after the size of the central working committee became bigger.

A 37-member executive committee has been formed today, despite the fact that the Congress Legislative Assembly will have a 46-member executive committee.

The remaining 11 candidates will be nominated subsequently, according to Congress. President Deuba, 13 office bearers, and previous office bearers make up the executive committee.

Deuba, Purna Bahadur Khadka, Dhanraj Gurung, Gagan Thapa, and Bishwa Prakash Sharma are among the party’s office-bearers.

Similarly, the joint general ministers are Farmulha Mansur, Bhishmaraj Aangdambe, Uma Kanta Chaudhary, Mahendra Yadav, Mahalaxmi Upadhyaya (Dina), Kishor Singh Rathore, Badri Pandey and Jeevan Pariyar.

Central members include senior leaders Ram Chandra Poudel, Prakashman Singh, Bimalendra Nidhi, Bijay Kumar Gachchhadar, Krishna Prasad Sitaula, Dr Shashank Koirala, Chitralekha Yadav, Dr Ram Sharan Mahat, Arjun Narasingha K.C, Sunil Bahadur Thapa, Dr Shekhar Koirala, Bal Bahadur KC, Uma Regmi, Ramesh Rijal, Dr Narayan Khadka, Jeep Tshering Lama, NP Saud, Jeevan Bahadur Shahi and Ananda Prasad Dhungana have been appointed to the executive committee.
