KATHMANDU: JAN. 28 – The ruling coalition is set to discuss local elections. The coalition has called a meeting to end the confusion over the election.

The three top leaders of the coalition parties met in Baluwatar on Friday at the residence of Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and agreed to meet on Saturday.

The Election Commission has already recommended a plan to the government for holding local elections in Baisakh (April/May).
