Passengers tormented by ‘odd-even’ system [Photos]

KATHMANDU: JAN. 28 -It’s been over a week since the Kathmandu Valley’s Chief District Officers implemented the odd-even system in private and public vehicles as a health measure to prevent COVID-19. Passengers on public transportation are currently suffering as a result of the odd-even system.

Passengers returning home in the evening in Kathmandu’s Sundhara, Bir Hospital, and Ratna Park areas have struggled for a long time to get a bus and board it.

Passengers have begun to suffer as public transportation has been reduced by half since the odd-even system was implemented.

At the same time, Kathmandu’s public transportation, which was previously chaotic, has grown much more so after the implementation of this system.
