Partnership with private sector likely to improve public education

KATHMANDU: JAN. 28 – Minister for Education, Science and Technology Devendra Poudel has said partnership with the private sector would be forged to bring about good results in the public education.

Receiving feedback from the representatives of private schools’ organisations on Thursday regarding the management and reforms of education sector in the time of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Education Minister stressed for implementing socialism-oriented state system mentioned in the constitution.

Minister Poudel also said further decision would be taken regarding the physical classes at the schools after analysing the context following the decisions of the COVID-19 Crisis Management Centre.

During the interaction, the representatives of the private schools asked the minister to give permission for the resumption of the physical classes at the schools.
