KATHMANDU: JAN. 28 – Brazil have been held to a draw by Ecuador in the South American World Cup qualifiers. Brazil and Ecuador drew 1-1 on Friday morning.

Casemiro scored for Brazil in the sixth minute of the game, but Brazil could not maintain the lead but Brazil was held to a draw. Felix Torres equalized for Ecuador in the 75th minute.

Both teams were limited to 10 players after Ecuador and Brazil received one red card each. In the 15th minute, Ecuador’s Alexander Dominguez received a red card, while Brazil’s Emerson Royal got a red card in the 20th minute.

Brazil has already been selected in the South American World Cup qualifiers. After this game, Brazil has 36 points in 14 games and Brazil is at the top. Ecuador has 24 points from 15 games and is in third place.
