Nepal reports 8,017 new COVID-19 cases, 15 deaths in last 24 hours

KATHMANDU: JAN. 27 – In Nepal, an additional 8,017 people have been infected with COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.

Of the confirmed cases today, 5,816 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 2,201 from the antigen method.

With the addition on Thursday, Nepal now has a total of 1 million 62 thousand 105 COVID-19 infected people.

In the last 24 hours, 15 coronavirus-related deaths were reported, according to the Ministry of Health and Population. At the same time, COVID-19 has claimed the lives of 11,687 people in Nepal.

In the last 24 hours, 5, 292 people have been recovered from COVID-19.
