Janamorcha to be represented in NA, Bishwakarma won from Lumbini

KATHMANDU: JAN. 26 – From Lumbini, Rastriya Janamorcha’s Tul Bahadur Bishwakarma was elected to the National Assembly. On the Dalit side, he defeated UML candidate Krishna Sunar. Bishwakarma got 4,356 votes, while Sunar got 3,348 votes.

This is the first time a Janamorcha candidate has been elected to the National Assembly.

Along with Bishwakarma, Yuvaraj Sharma has been elected from Lumbini on the open side and Rajyalaxmi Gaire on the women’s side.

Sharma belongs to Congress and Sharma belongs to the CPN-Unified Socialists. He defeated CPN-UML candidates Ram Dayal Gupta and Bharti Khanal Upadhyay.
