State 1: Congress Basnet won through lottery

BIRATNAGAR: JAN. 26 – Gopal Bahadur Basnet of the Nepali Congress (NC) has emerged victorious in the open election for the National Assembly.

After both the candidates got equal votes, Basnet won by a lottery.
