National Assembly election: Ruling coalition candidate wins in Lumbini

KATHMANDU: JAN. 26 – Lumbini’s National Assembly election was won by the ruling coalition.

The Nepali Congress’ Yubaraj Sharma, the CPN’s Laxmi Gaire, and the Rastriya Janamorcha’s Tul Prasad BK (Rajesh) won the election on Wednesday.

In a vote held at the Dang Employees’ Meeting Center, they defeated UML’s Ram Dayal Gupta, Bharti Khanal Upadhyay, and Krishna Sunar.

According to reports, 81 and 107 local level chiefs and deputy chiefs voted in the election.
