Meeting of the parliamentary party of UML state 1 begins

BIRATNAGAR: JAN. 26 – The CPN-UML State 1 Parliamentary Party meeting has begun. The meeting, which was supposed to start at 2:30 p.m., started an hour late.

After the fall of the CPN-UML-led government, the parliamentary party meeting could not be held in State 1 till now.

According to the CPN-UML parliamentary party, a meeting has been convened to discuss and review the role of the opposition after the change of government.

The CPN-UML currently has 41 members in the state assembly. The UML government was in the minority after 10 lawmakers left the 51-member UML and joined the CPN (Unified Socialist).
