UML parliamentary party meeting being held

BIRATNAGAR: JAN. 26 – CPN-UML is holding a meeting of the State 1 parliamentary party today. After the fall of the CPN-UML-led government, the meeting of the parliamentary parties could not be held in State 1 till now.

According to the CPN-UML parliamentary party, a meeting has been convened to discuss and review the role of the opposition after the change of government.

The CPN-UML currently has 41 members in the state assembly. The UML government was in the minority after 10 lawmakers left the 51-member UML and joined the CPN (Unified Socialist).

The meeting of the party was convened at 2 pm, said Buddhi Kumar Rajbhandari, chief whip of the parliamentary party.
