KATHMANDU: JAN. 26 – Kathmandu has the most population, according to preliminary census figures from the Central Statistics Office. Kathmandu has a population of 2 million 17 thousand 532 people.

Morang ranks second in terms of population. Morang has a population of 1.147 million 186 people.

In terms of population, Rupandehi is ranked third. Rupandehi has a population of 1.118 million 975 people.

Manang has the lowest population, according to the Central Statistics Office. There are 5,645 people in Manang.
