Preliminary details of census to be published today

KATHMANDU: JAN. 26 – National Census 2078 preliminary details will be released today. The details will be made public after 10 a.m., according to the Central Statistics Office.

The overall population, including men and women, the number of Nepalis residing abroad, and the total number of families in Nepal will be made public based on preliminary results.

At present, only preliminary details will be released and detailed results will be made public within six months.

From Sept 15 to Oct 4, the department conducted a listing of houses and households, followed by the main census from Nov 11 to 25.
