KATHMANDU: JAN. 25 – In Nepal, Kia Motors introduced its first hybrid SUV, the Kia Sorento. Kia, a Korean automaker, claims to have succeeded in making the concept of a seven-seat vehicle more attractive.

A 1.6-litre TGDI turbo petrol engine and a 44.2 kW electromagnetic motor with a 1.49 kWh battery power the car.

The car features seven airbags, a lane-keeping system, electronic stability control, traction control, smart cruise control, lane-keeping system, surround-view monitor, lane following assist, and many more safety features, according to the company.

In addition, the Kia Sorento provides command lines for both external and internal facilities. On the front, it features a wide-sweeping grill. Which works in tandem with the normal LED lights.

The 12.3-inch all-digital instrument cluster enhances the screen in the Kia Sorento. The technology used in blind view monitors can capture live video footage of adjacent lanes in a device cluster.

This helps in the use of turn signals. The flourishing interior with Napa Leather takes it to one of the segment’s premium interiors. The Sorento also has mood lights, head-up displays, and ventilated electric seats, making it a luxury SUV.

The pricing of the Sorrento Hybrid is Rs 169.90 lakh. Runway Red, Gravity Blue, Snow White Pearl, Aurora Black Pearl, and Steel Gray are among the five color options available in the Nepali market.
