Vaccination campaign resumes at Teku Hospital

KATHMANDU: JAN. 25 – The Shukraraj Tropical and Communicable Diseases Hospital in Teku has resumed its vaccination program. The COVID-19 vaccination campaign, which had been halted for a week, has resumed today.

The vaccination program has been re-launched, according to Dr Manisha Rawal, the hospital’s director, after manpower management from Kathmandu Metropolitan Health Branch and Nepal Red Cross Society.

The first dose, full dose and booster dose vaccine against COVID-19 is available at the hospital. The vaccination campaign was put on hold for a week starting Monday after more than 50 doctors, health workers and other staff were infected with COVID-19 on Sunday.
