Few days for weather to improve
KATHMANDU: JAN. 25 – The partial effect of the western low-pressure system is causing partial to moderate change throughout the country, according to the Meteorological Department.
It has been advised to take appropriate precautions and measures to prevent the cold and its effects due to the possibility of light rain in a few places in the country’s hilly areas and light snowfall in a few places in the country’s high hills and mountainous areas.
The sky was clear in the late morning in Kathmandu, but it is currently partly cloudy. Today’s weather, according to the department’s meteorologist, is better than yesterday’s.
It will take a few more days for the weather to fully recover. Compared to the past, it is likely to be cloudy this afternoon and light rain is expected in a few places. The weather has been clear in the morning for the next few days but there is a possibility of cloudy and light rain again in the afternoon.
At present, there will be partial to normal cloud cover in the hilly areas of the country and partial cloud cover in the rest of the country. In a few places in the country’s hilly areas, light rain is expected. There is a chance of light snowfall in a few areas of the country’s high hills and mountains.
Even at night, the hilly areas of the country will have partial to normal cloud cover, while the rest of the country will have partial cloud cover.
Tomorrow, there will be a partial return to normalcy around the country. The minimum temperature in Kathmandu today is 4.5 degrees Celsius, with a maximum of 15.5 degrees Celsius.
