Gold price rises by 500
KATHMANDU: JAN. 25 – The price of Chhapawal gold in circulation has soared from Rs 500 per tola to Rs 94,000 per tola in the gold and silver market. The previous day’s gold price per tola was 93,500.
The price of Tejabi gold has been set at Rs 93,500 per tola today, according to information released by the Federation of Gold and Silver Entrepreneurs of Nepal. On Monday, the price per tola was set at Rs 93,000.
According to the federation, the price of Silver fell by Rs 15 today compared to the previous trading price and was fixed at Rs 1,300 per tola.
The federation has been fixing the daily trading price here on the basis of changes in the price of gold and silver in the international market. Gold is being traded at around $1,841 per tola in the international market today.
