COVID-19-infected woman dies in Banke

KATHMANDU: JAN. 25 – In Nepalgunj, Banke district, a COVID-19 infected person has died. This morning, a 70-year-old woman from Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan-2 died.

The woman was admitted to Bheri Hospital for treatment the next day after the PCR test report from Nepalgunj Medical College, Kohalpur, was positive on Jan 22, according to the Health Office in Banke. She passed away while receiving treatment.

With the death of another woman, the total number of COVID-19-related deaths in the Banke district has risen to 346.
