Teku Hospital resumed vaccination campaign as of today

KATHMANDU: JAN. 25 – From today, the vaccination campaign at Sukraraj Tropical & Infectious Disease Hospital in Teku will resume. The COVID-19 vaccination campaign, which had been put on hold for a week, will resume today.

The vaccination campaign will resume once the Kathmandu Metropolitan Health Branch and the Nepal Red Cross Society manage the manpower, according to Dr Manisha Rawal, the hospital’s director. The vaccination program, he claims, will begin at 10 a.m. today.

The vaccination campaign was put on hold for a week starting Monday after more than 50 doctors, health workers and other staff were infected with COVID-19 on Sunday. The hospital was administering the first, full, and booster doses of COVID-19.
