NEPSE increased by almost 33 points on today
KATHMANDU: JAN. 20 – On Thursday, the fifth trading day of the week, the share market index (NEPSE) has increased by double digits. On this day, the index has increased by 32.96 points and reached 2931.26 points. Earlier, the stock market had declined on Wednesday and Tuesday. On the last day of the week, NEPSE increased.
On this day, a total of 1,59,89,444 shares valued at Rs 5 billion 777.31 million 20 thousand 409 rupees were bought and sold.
The share prices of 160 of the companies traded have increased. Twenty-five companies have declined. The five companies’ share prices have stayed constant.
Hydropower companies’ share prices have climbed on this day. Malung Khola and Terhathum Power Company’s share prices have increased by 10%.
Buddhabhumi Nepal, Nyadi, and other companies share prices have also increased. Bottlers Nepal, New Sarathi Microfinance, and other companies share prices have dropped.
