COVID-19 PCR test reduced

KATHMANDU: JAN. 19 – The cost of PCR testing for COVID-19 has been decreased by the government.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the test charge is Rs 800 in government hospitals and Rs 1,500 in private hospitals and laboratories.

Previously, the PCR test cost Rs 1,000 in government hospitals and Rs 2,000 in private hospitals.
