New orders issued by DAO to tighten the smart lockdown
Action will be taken if these 26 points are not followed from today.

KATHMANDU: JAN. 19 – Kathmandu Valley’s safety has been tightened as of today. The Kathmandu Valley’s three District Administration Offices (DAO) have all issued new orders to tighten the smart lockdown.
During the month of Magh (mid-February), the administration has banned the presence of a significant number of people in the same place. The government has directed that no conferences, gatherings, seminars, meetings, or reviews be held, in order to conduct such programs through a virtual medium, if any program or activity has to be done physically, more than 25 people should not be allowed to participate and health standards must be followed.
Schools, cinema halls, dohori sanjh, dance bars, dance halls, clubs, and gyms have been forced to close until Jan29. While conducting religious programs, there is an order to adhere to public health standards. Worship at religious temples has also been prohibited.
The administration has already established a rule requiring mandatory vaccination cards to be shown in public areas beginning Jan 21.
