Market declined by 10 points, with a turnover of Rs 8 billion
KATHMANDU: JAN. 18 – On Tuesday, the third trading day of the week, the stock market index (NEPSE) fell. The NEPSE index fell 10.78 points to 2936.66 points on Tuesday. The sensitive indicator has increased by 1.10 points.
As compared to Monday, the transaction amount has risen. It had a Monday turnover of Rs 8 billion and a Tuesday turnover of more than Rs 8 billion. On this day, a total of 16 million 4 thousand 530 shares worth Rs. 8 billion 444 million 19 thousand 561 were traded.
Four of the 13 group indicators traded on this day are positive, while the remaining seven subgroup indications are negative.
Samling Power’s share price increased the greatest (9.49 percent), followed by Madhya Bhotekoshi Hydropower (8.11 percent), Buddhabhumi Hydropower (6.08 percent), Prabhu Bank (5.56 percent), and Barun Hydropower (4.66 percent).
Human microfinance’s share price has dropped the most, by 5%. Corporate Development Bank’s 4.62 percent, Panchakanya Mai Hydropower’s 4.47 percent, Khani Khola Hydropower’s 4.40 percent and Sindhu Bikash Bank’s 4.21 percent.
