Booster dosages being administered in Kathmandu and Lalitpur

KATHMANDU: JAN. 18 – The Ministry of Health and Population is providing COVID-19 booster doses through 19 vaccination centers in the Kathmandu area.

Dr. Samir Kumar Adhikari, the Ministry’s Joint Spokesperson, stated that those working on the front lines had been given booster dosages from 19 locations in Kathmandu Valley since Jan 16.

Booster dose will be provided at Birendra Sainik Hospital, Nepal Police Hospital, Armed Police Hospital, Tribhuvan Teaching Hospital, Bir Hospital, Paropakar Maternity & Women’s Hospital, Shukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital.

Vaccinations are also given at Civil Servants Hospital, Suvekchya Hospital, People’s Dental Hospital, Janamaitri Hospital, Gandhi International Hospital, Kathmandu Model Hospital, Norvic Hospital, Nobel Hospital, Bayodha Hospital, Sahid Smriti Hospital, New Bus Park and Apex Polyclinic in Jadibuti. The ministry has requested to take the vaccination card for vaccination.

Booster Dose in Lalitpur from today

From today, Lalitpur will be subject to a booster dodge against COVID-19. Booster dosages will be provided to front-line health workers from today to Jan 20, according to the Lalitpur Municipal Corporation.

The vaccination center will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Lalitpur Metropolitan City, Sumeru Hospital, Sarwang Hospital, Alka Hospital, Star Hospital, Nidan Hospital, B & B Hospital and Medicity Hospital can be vaccinated in these hospitals.
