Woman killed in motorcycle crash

DHANGADHI: JAN. 17 – A woman was killed after being hit by a motorcycle in Kailali. Mansara Jaisi, 55, of Lamki Chuha Municipality-4, Baliya, has been identified as the victim.

According to the District Police Office in Kailali, the woman died as a result of her injuries while receiving treatment at Kohalpur Hospital.

The Area Police Office, Motipur, has taken control of the motorbike (Se 6 Pa 8786) and the rider.

Following the death of the woman, her family began agitation by bringing her body from Kohalpur and laying it on the road. They have blocked the Lamki road section of the East-West Highway, according to the District Police Office in Kailali, demanding action against the culprits and proper compensation.
