Minister Ale tests positive for COVID-19

KATHMANDU: JAN. 17 – Prem Bahadur Ale, Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, tested positive for COVID-19. Minister Ale’s secretariat informed that he tested positive for COVID-19.

Hemant Regmi, Minister Ale’s personal secretary, has also contracted COVID-19. He stated this on social media. “Honorable Minister and I would like to inform you that owing to the COVID-19 virus, all ministry programs and regular meetings have been postponed,” he stated. Other health conditions are normal.’

The secretariat of Minister Ale has urged all people who have had contact with them in the last several days to be cautious.
