Machhindra beat Brigade Boys Club

KATHMANDU: JAN. 16 – Machhindra Football Club won today’s match in the Martyrs’ Memorial ‘A’ Division Football League.
Machhindra beat Brigade Boys Club 4-0 in Tripureshwor’s Dasharath Stadium. Machhindra’s Bimal Gharti Magar scored twice, while Rejin Subba and Abhishek Rijal scored once each for Machhindra.
Brigade Boys held Machhindra to a goalless draw in the first half but failed to score in the second half. Machhindra player Bimal scored the goal in the 56 th minute of the match. He scored a goal through a header provided by Rejin Subba.
Similarly, Bimal scored his second goal in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 84 th minute of the match, Rejin increased Machhindra’s lead by scoring a goal. He scored on Bimal’s pass.
Abhishek scored in extra time in the second half to give Machhindra a 4-0 victory. With the win, the top-ranked Machhindra has reached 23 points from nine games.
Machhindra is four points behind second-ranked Manang. Manang has 19 points. Brigade Boys is 12th in the table.
