General Secretary Pokharel tests positive for COVID-19

KATHMANDU: JAN. 14 – Shankar Pokharel, general secretary of the UML, tested positive for COVID-19. Since the virus was confirmed, he has been held in isolation.

He has postponed all political programs since then. “We have not been able to evade the third wave of COVID-19,” General Secretary Pokharel remarked. ‘All scheduled activities have been rescheduled.’
