Bhattarai bags Janardhan Mainali Journalism Award

BIRATNAGAR: JAN. 13 – The Janardan Mainali Memorial Journalism Award has been given to Jagannath Bhattarai of Urlabari, Morang.

On Thursday, Bhattarai received the honor during the eighth district convention of Press Chautari Nepal Morang in Biratnagar.

According to Mahendra Bista, the selection committee’s coordinator, Chautari handed the prize to Bhattarai based on the award selection committee’s suggestion. The amount of prize given by Press Chautari every year is 15 thousand.

Similarly, Press Chautari has honored Morang’s former chairperson and advisor. Bikram Luintel, Ram Chandra Adhikari, and Dilli Pokharel are among those honored. Chautari’s district convention will elect new leaders.
