KATHMANDU: JAN. 12 – The Private Medical and Dental Colleges Association Nepal has expressed concern about the incident at Nobel Medical College in Biratnagar. Basruddin Ansari, chair of the association, stated in a statement that the vandalism committed by students at Nobel Medical College has garnered notice.

Similarly, the association has expressed concern over the set charge for medical education. The association has objected that the commission has fixed the exclusive fee as per the provisions of the National Medical Education Act 2075.

The association has warned that if it infiltrates in the name of the movement, publicly humiliates colleges and college operators, and damages the teaching hospital and the college’s physical property, education and hospital services would be stopped across the country.
