Not only number but also percentage of infected people is increasing
KATHMANDU: JAN. 11 – The number of COVID-19 infected people has started increasing. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, COVID-19 infection was confirmed in 1,167 people on Sunday, 1,446 people on Monday and 2,444 on Tuesday.
Not only on the basis of the number tested but also on the basis of the percentage, it is clear that the percentage of COVID-19 infected people has grown. With the 12,632 tests on Sunday, 1,167, or 9.2 percent, were infected with COVID-19.
COVID-19 was confirmed in 1,446 persons, or 12.6 percent, of the 11,429 participants tested on Monday. This is a 3.4 percent increase over the previous day. Similarly, COVID-19 infection was confirmed in 2,444 persons, or 16.2 percent, of the 15,033 people tested on Tuesday.
This is 3.8 percent higher than the previous day. As a result, not only is the number of persons infected with COVID-19 increasing on a daily basis, but also the percentage of those who have been tested has been shown to be highly infected.
