Kathmandu valley to witness ‘smart lockdown’ (with order)
KATHMANDU: JAN. 11 – The smart lockdown has been tightened by the Valley administration. The Kathmandu Valley administration has tightened its regulation on the COVID-19 infection rate.
On Tuesday, the Kathmandu Valley’s chief district officers decided to tighten the valley’s smart lockdown. According to the Kathmandu District Administration Office, it has been tightened in the Kathmandu Valley in accordance with the COVID-19 Crisis Management Center (CCMCC) and the Ministry of Home Affairs.
According to the Kathmandu District Administration Office, whether leaving the house or entering a public location, everyone must wear a mask, wash their hands with soap and water, and adhere to health standards.
Smart lockdown will be implemented in the Kathmandu Valley from 12 am tonight.
Similarly, it has been agreed to prohibit crowds and political activities, to prohibit gatherings of more than 25 people in public areas, to need vaccination cards when entering public places beginning on Jan 21, and to close schools till Jan 29.
Similarly, public transportation should not be permitted to convey more people than the vehicle’s seat capacity, passengers should not be permitted to enter the vehicle without wearing a mask, and non-mandatory sanitizer should be offered at the vehicle’s door.
