COVID-19 cases are on rise, with 2,444 infected people added in a single day

KATHMANDU: JAN. 11 – COVID- On Tuesday, 19 infections were confirmed in 2,444 persons in Nepal.

According to the Ministry of Health, of the 10,648 PCR tests conducted across the country, 1,981 and 4,385 antigen tests confirmed COVID-19 infection in 463 people.

Similarly, one more person has died as a result of COVID-19, bringing the total number of deaths to 11,607.

Meanwhile, 313 patients have returned home after totally recovering from COVID-19. The total number of COVID-19 recovered in Nepal to date is 814,798.

At present, there are 9,522 active infected isolation and 113 quarantined people in Nepal, according to the ministry.
