NEPSE rises for third day in a row, market climbed by 49 points, with a total turnover of Rs. 672 crore
KATHMANDU: JAN. 11 – The share market has started rising on Tuesday, the third trading day of the week.
The share market, which has been rising since the beginning of the week, i.e. Sunday, has risen for the third day. On this day (NEPSE) index has increased by 49.19 points. When the NEPSE rose by 19 points on Monday, the turnover was over Rs 7 billion. Earlier on Sunday, it had increased by 73 points and more than Rs 7 billion had been transacted.
By the end of trading on Tuesday, the NEPSE index had risen 1.77 percent to 2,834.15 points. The Sensitive Index increased by 6.34 points to 528.87. However, compared to Sunday and Monday, the transaction amount has declined slightly.
On Tuesday, 119,70,215 shares of 232 companies were traded for Rs 6.72 billion 45.26 million 197 rupees.
Share prices of Narayani Development Bank, Nepal Finance Limited, Pokhara Finance Limited, Corporate Development Bank and Madhya Bhotekoshi have risen 10 percent on this day.
Shares of Civil Microfinance Financial Institution, Nyadi Hydropower Limited and Miteri Development Bank have risen more than 9 percent.
