Partnership for Digital Payments between Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank and MOCO App

KATHMANDU: JAN. 11 – A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Limited and MOCO App to exchange Focus One Cement Solutions’ digital wallet facility.

The MoU was jointly signed by Prabin Basnet, Chief Executive Officer of the Bank and Pranaya Rajbhandari, Chief Executive Officer of Focus One Cement Solutions.

MOCO’s mobile app is Nepal’s first ‘Open Loop Non-Store Value’ digital wallet, allowing customers to easily enter their card details and instantly make payments to a variety of merchant outlets using QR codes.

Visa card users of Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Ltd. will now be able to link their debit card to the Moko app and use it to make purchases and pay for various services – such as telecom top-ups, internet and electricity bills, etc.

Customers have stated that they do not have to repeatedly load the balance in the digital wallet to avail this service.
