Sharan Kumar Rai elected as chairperson of UML Bhojpur

BHOJPUR: JAN. 10 – The CPN (UML) District Committee Bhojpur has chosen its leadership unanimously. Sharan Kumar Rai, the head of the UML, has formed a new committee.

Makkar Khadka was unanimously elected vice-chairperson, Kiran Rai as secretary, Dhyan Bahadur Raut as deputy secretary, and Dharma Kiranti as committee deputy secretary.

A 90-member district committee including five office bearers has been selected from the eighth district session of the CPN-UML. Sharan Kumar Rai and Makkar Khadka were claiming for the post of district chairperson.

The convention, which began on Friday, was extended to Sunday to reach a consensus between the two.
