General meeting of Interior Designers Association concluded
KATHMANDU: JAN. 9 – The Interior Designers’ Association of Nepal (IDEA Nepal) held its annual general meeting at the Lainchaur Banquet in Kathmandu.
The program’s chief guest, Urban Development Minister Ram Kumari Jhankri, stated that the government will take the required efforts to improve the interior sector’s utilization and development.
Rabindra Puri received special accolades and honorary membership in IDEA Nepal in appreciation of her contributions to Nepali architecture.
Bindra Pradhan, the chairperson of Idea Nepal, who presided over the event, stated that IDEA Nepal will seek to improve and advance the field of interior design.
She said that interior design is directly or indirectly related to well-organized living, people’s lifestyle, social civilization and productivity of any office or work area.
She urged the government to include aspects related to interior design in its policymaking.
