Minister Karki in isolation

KATHMANDU: JAN. 9 – Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, is in Home Isolation. After CPN (Maoist Center) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and leader Narayan Kaji Shrestha got infected with the coronavirus on Saturday, Minister Karki is sitting at home in isolation.

On Friday, Minister of Communications Karki, who is also the government’s spokesperson, attended a meeting of the ruling coalition.

He informed that he will return to work regularly after the PCR test results.

Sher Bahadur Deuba, the Prime Minister, has been in isolation since Saturday. Infected Maoist leaders include Haribol Gajurel, Matrika Yadav, Dor Prasad Upadhyay, Ram Prasad Sapkota, Ramesh Malla, and others.
