KATHMANDU: JAN. 7 – South Africa have won the second Test against India in Johannesburg by seven wickets. The home team reached the target of 240 runs losing only 3 wickets.

At the Johannesburg Stadium, India suffered its first defeat after 29 years. The first Test between India and South Africa at Wanderers in Johannesburg in 1992 ended in a tie.

At this stadium, India defeated South Africa by 63 runs in 2018. South Africa ended their bad history against India with a seven-wicket victory

KL Rahul captained the Indian team for the first time after Virat Kohli fell unwell. With the win, South Africa has drawn the three-match series 1-1.

In the first innings, India scored 202 runs. South Africa responded by gaining a 27-run lead with 229 runs scored. South Africa set a target of 240 runs after India scored 266 runs in the second innings.
